Studio policy

Refunds.

Vortle is a micro-transaction studio. Credits never expire, and we try to be straightforward about money. See also Terms and Privacy.

Unused credits — 30-day refund

If you’ve bought a pack and haven’t spent any of it, write to studio@vortle.example within thirty days of purchase and we’ll refund the pack in full to the original payment method.

Partially spent packs

Once a pack has been used — even one generation — it is treated as redeemed and is non-refundable. Remaining credits stay in your wallet and never expire, so there’s no rush to use them up.

Failed generations are auto-refunded

If a generation fails after credits have been deducted, the credits are refunded to your wallet automatically — you don’t need to contact us. You only ever pay for output you actually receive.

Disputed or duplicate charges

Saw a top-up you didn’t recognise, or a duplicate charge from a flaky checkout? Write to studio@vortle.example with the date and the last four digits on your statement and we’ll reconcile and refund where appropriate, typically within one working day.

Closing your studio

When you close a studio, any unused balance is refundable to the original payment method, subject to the rules above (unspent packs in full, redeemed packs not refundable).

How to ask

Write to studio@vortle.example from the email tied to your studio. Mention the pack and approximate date — we’ll handle the rest and email a confirmation once the refund is on its way.
