Terms of service.
The agreement between you and Vortle for use of the studio. See also Privacy and Refunds.
Your studio account
Opening a studio means you’ve agreed to these terms. You are responsible for the email and password tied to your studio; one studio per designer. Don’t share login credentials — sessions are bound to a single HTTP-only cookie.
Credits & top-ups
Vortle is a micro-transaction studio: you buy a pack of credits and spend them per generation. Credits never expire. Each generation deducts credits from your wallet at the rate published on the pricing page at the time of use.
Signing up grants zero credits. No free trial is offered. See Refunds for how unused balances are handled.
What you make is yours
Every cover image, motif, schematic, and listing copy generated in Vortle belongs to you. You can release patterns commercially on Ravelry, Etsy, Payhip, or anywhere else you sell. We claim no ownership in your patterns, your swatches, or your generated output.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Vortle to generate imagery of a real person without their consent, or to produce content that infringes another designer’s pattern, photographs, or copyrighted materials. We’ll close studios used for that and forfeit any remaining balance on closure for cause.
Service availability
Vortle runs on managed infrastructure with the usual caveats: scheduled maintenance, upstream provider incidents, and rare outages. Generations that fail mid-run are refunded to your wallet automatically — you only ever pay for output you receive.
Closing your studio
You can close your studio at any time by writing to studio@vortle.example. We’ll remove your records and generated files within thirty days and refund any unused balance under the terms on the Refunds page.
